Before Adelynn stepped into her dress, we spent time exploring the city to find the best places for her photos. Planning Ahead
This quinceañera in Paris took more than just showing up with a camera. We coordinated with the makeup artist weeks in advance, and the entire session was the result of a month-long planning process.
Getting Ready in Paris
We started the day at 5 a.m. with hair and makeup. By 7 a.m., Adelynn was ready in her dress, and we took the first portraits inside the Airbnb.
Trocadéro Sunrise Session
Our first stop was Trocadéro, where we worked patiently around the crowds of tourists to capture those classic Eiffel Tower shots.
Across the Seine
From there we crossed the Seine and photographed in the park across from the tower. The greenery and open space gave us a softer, more natural backdrop.
Midday at the Louvre and Café Portraits
By midday we made our way toward the Louvre for lunch. Afterward, Adelynn changed outfits and we photographed at a café nearby (yes, we had permission), which added a lifestyle touch to her gallery.
Evening at the Louvre
Finally, we crossed to the Louvre courtyard for late afternoon and evening portraits. The light was changing, the rain started to fall, and the temperature dropped, so we worked quickly to keep her comfortable.
Those last photos, taken in the evening light with raindrops in the air, are some of the most striking images from her quinceañera in Paris.
